"Johnny has always been a true company member. Supportive of his fellow cast members, professionally dedicated, prepared and inventive...Witnessing his growth as an actor and collaborator has been a most rewarding experience."

- Susan H. Schulman, Tony Nom. Director, Former SDC President

Johnny is an actor, singer, dancer and musician. He was born and raised in Batavia, IL, just west of Chicago. With a BFA in Musical Theatre from Penn State University, he has since continued to work on a variety of projects including the Fingerlakes Merry-Go-Round Playhouse and the National Tour of R&H's Cinderella. He also had the great privilege to have been awarded the 2017 AEA Roger Sturtevant Award.

"Music and theatre was always my passion. I am a storyteller because I believe in the power of human connection. Theatre and TV/Film is a chance for us to learn from people we wouldn't necessarily have met otherwise.
Because I have accommodated to a spoken world, most people don't realize that I happen to have moderate to severe sensorineural hearing loss in both ears. I have used hearing aids since the age of 3. Like the overwhelming majority of hard of hearing/deaf children, I was raised in a hearing world. My experience has given me a passion to tell stories that are inclusive and diverse."
Johnny currently resides in NYC.
